A single, ordinary stick seems to symbolize the life of an average man in the modern world. Man doesn't realize that he is living in this way, but tries to gain happiness by choosing a living style like a single stick. I didn't want my students to follow such a way of living, so I gave them the works of Abe Kobd as reading material and attempted to find out his influence in their impressions from his readings.
