Abstract

Abstract : The patient was a 36-year-old woman. Periapical radiograph showed a large periapical lesion of the maxillary right central incisor which was endodontically treated including the apex of the maxillary lateral incisor which was endodontically untreated. Periapical surgery was performed for the central incisor, and the curettage area of the lesion was limited around the periapical area. One year after the periapical surgery of the non-vital central incisor, the periapical lesion was healed and the vitality of the lateral incisor was maintained.
