In this essay, I will analyze my own interpretation of postwar Japanese education on which I've formed the basis of my teaching practice and theory. Through this analysis, I would like to elucidate the problems I have had and think through how to solve them. I believe such an analysis will shed some light on the issues in Japanese education today.
