The parenthetical expressions used in Kenji's poems seize the many-sidedness of the consciousness that happen simultaneously, and as a result, they enable the "unconscious three-dimentional descriptions." By giving the title of "Kenjivs. Kenji," I attempt to pursue the core of the polyphonic confrontation or multi-contrastive ideas at the place of creation of the poetical expressions as follows: the speaker and the writer (or the pronunciation and writing), and poetical reality 1 and poetical reality 2 (confronting poetical reality 1). At the center of the concept, there are conflicts between the author and the narrator, and beween narrator 1 and narrator 2 which are suggested by thediscontinuous expressions in the parentheses. In this essay, Kussetsu-ritsu(an index of refraction) in the center, the montage of collision which is made clear by the parenthetical expressions, is pursued.
