Expression is a will for others. If we are unconcious of others, we have no expression. There are some problems in recent expression of school-children, who have no or little interest in human relation. Training of writing is necessary for them to make up human relation. In lower classes of elementary school, sympathy is the most important theme for their writing. Some examples show their love for pet animals. In higher classes, they should be conscious of themselves in training of writing after blind work. The purpose of writing in class is that they can communicate each other through their works and then human relation will begin.

I would like to offer next two suggestions on the training of Japanese writing. One is that teaching materials should be for imaginative understanding of history, so that students could realize their own surroundings like Muneyoshi Yanagi's Kokamon or Ko Samiong's My Lost Korea. The other is realism for free imagination. Realism in Japan has been too exclusive of imagination, which reflects upon Japanese writings. Difficulties should be overcome in practical training.

We can see in students' writings that they are now in a critical situation and it is necessary for us to understand what they want to say in their way of expression. Using Seizo Kuwata's Muddy Warriors as a text, I could say that unconscious reality in conscious expression of life is in description of others and therefore in training of writing, subjectivity could be turned into objectivity through real description of life.

The eighth chapter of Makura-no-soshi is recollective diary on Empress Teishi's moving to Daizin Narimasa's house. It has been said that the theme of this chapter was not on Narimasa's foolish behavior, but admiring of Empress. Most students fail in understanding of the theme and misinterpret that it would be a satire for Narimasa's foolishness. For true interpretation, they should know description of Empress concluded Narimasa's episode, though it was not so much written. After reading in class, two kind of interpretation could be admitted, one is a satire for Narimasa, and the other is admiring of Empress.

Two dreams of sixth and seventh year of Enryaku are related in thirty-eighth tale which is the editor Kyokai's autobiography in the second volume of Nihon-Ryoiki. One is the instructive and speculative interpretation of dream in which Kwan'non responded to a wish to get out of poverty according to the teaching of Shami or Jidoso. The other is not on the worldly problem but on religious question how to die a peaceful death. Two dreams symbolized Kyokai's theme on life and death. In addition, cremation has an important meaning for Buddhist.

These four suitors, Yukimasa, Nakayori, Tadakoso and Toei have been thought as characters from precedent stories through the process of arrangement. From the whole view of the text, they have a characteristic common to all that they proposed to a heroine Ate-miya, but in spite of their fame for culture in the aristocratic society, they were refused as result. This shows the nature of the story.

Some works of Ango Sakaguchi based on precedent literature, though it is not just borrowing but his new creation. The beginning of Kanzan could be found as the same tale in Ibun Soroku of unknown authorship in old China. But this book is not resistered even in The Dictionary of Chinese Studies. The Collection of Chinese Mysteries by Kido Okamoto should be his source.
